INVE Brand Artemia Cysts/ Animal Feed Artemia Cysts

The INVE brand Artemia cysts (brine shrimp) are available in all grades. These artemia cysts are over-wintered, washed, dried, and tested under strict guidelines before categorizing into the different hatch rate categories. Average nauplii size at hatching is 440 microns.

Hatching Instruction

1. Use filtered seawater of salinity 15 - 35 PPT pH 8.0 - 8.5.

2. Incubate up to 2.5 g of cysts per liter water. Apply vigorous aeration from the  bottom of the tank.

3. Maintain water temperature at 28°C -  30°C. Provide continuous artificial or natural light(2,000 lux at water surface).

4. After hatching, harvest and rinse nauplii.                            

Storage:

1. Keep away from direct sunlight

2. Store in a cool dry place at  temperature of  4°C(39ºF) or below

3. Consumed immediately or stored in refrigerated conditions when the package is opened

4. Not for human consumption
